Fund Description

Kakawa Guaranteed Income Fund (KGIF) is a unit trust scheme, which gives investors access to a well diversified portfolio of equities and fixed income securities, affording subscribers a diversified hedge against inflation.

The Fund also enables investors pool their resources together and place them under professional management of Kakawa Asset Management Limited. Investors who hold /own units of the fund (which has a par value of N 1.00), buy at a prevailing offer price and sell at the bid price.

KGIF is a unique investment option that provides capital preservation and growth because it offers a minimum guaranteed return benchmarked against ‘the CBN’s Monetary Policy Rate (MPR), as well as pays additional yield from share of annual profit.

Benefits:

  • Principal plus minimum return is guaranteed
  • Competitive returns from economies of scale
  • Income is distributed or reinvested at subscriber’s option, twice a year at the review periods (June 30th & December 31st respectively)
  • At the end of the Fund’s Financial year, additional payment from the excess profit after the payment of the guaranteed rate is distributed to investors
